We are an independent, full-service creative agency based in New York City specializing in branding, packaging design and creative production. We develop and deploy impactful, actionable creative solutions to build awareness, drive consumption and impact culture through collaborative partnership with our clients. We have 20 years of experience bringing brands to life across nearly every sector.
We are PARTNERS
Now a partner agency with CBX, ROOK/NYC was founded in 2012 by Mark Christou & Rebecca Thomas Christou. Driven to partner with disruptive brands, we develop true partnerships with all of our clients both large and small, adapting to their unique set of creative needs and challenges. Having co-founded and co-created a number of successful CPG brands, we are brand owners ourselves and we intimately understand the internal challenges, growing pains and performance mile markers that our clients face. Additionally, in 2016 ROOK/NYC formed and grew an internal, brand-side creative team to rapidly scale and deploy elevated creative output in partnership with Bain Capital and Sundial Brands’ Executive Team. We scaled a team of 4 to a team of 30 creatives in less than a year, executed viral social media campaigns, redesigned and repackaged a full portfolio of brands, repositioned point-of-sale, launched new beauty brands in Sephora and Ulta, and deployed a national advertising campaign. Sundial Brands was acquired by Unilever in 2018.

Through our independent investment group, R/Co Ventures, we invest both time and capital into brands and organizations with synergistic missions, causes and goals for a greater outcome. With unfettered access to company founders, their inner teams and their design beliefs, R/Co Ventures is able to conduct thorough and organic due diligence reviews while providing creative services for the brand that will compliment technical and financial analysis.
